Facade Cast-In Embed Modelling (Revit) & AIP Drawing Production

Drawing plays a crucial role in design, approval, and construction processes. In the past, hand sketches and tools like AutoCAD were used for creating drawings. In this context, I'll share a modern method involving models and Revit, using the example of cast-in embed AIP drawings. Creating a Cast-In Embed Model: 創建 幕墻預埋件模型 : The first step involves gathering essential information, such as detailed drawings, engineering requirements, standards, and sketches. Next, automation is key. Using a mullion model, cast-in embeds can be automatically generated with Dynamo, based on mullion locations. After the draft model is ready, it's shared with engineers through BIM Viewer for review and coordination. Following drawing standards an

What is Building Information Modelling (BIM)?

In this blog, I will share my journey in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling). I will review my evolving understanding and experiences with BIM technology since 2019, along with my learning and work experiences in the BIM field. From initially regarding BIM simply as a 3D modeling tool to applying BIM in projects to solve real-world problems, and then grasping the importance of BIM coordination and the challenges it entails. 2019: Before 2019, my understanding of BIM was that it was a technology for creating 3D models using BIM software like Revit, ArchiCAD, and Tekla. 2020: As I began participating in a large-scale BIM project, I learned to adapt to the needs of managers and engineers. During this time, I realized that BIM was a technology aimed at re
